This abridged serialisation of The Hobbit appeared weekly in the British magazine Princess between 10 October 1964 and 16 January 1965. The story was condensed into fifteen instalments, with illustrations by Ferguson Dewar.
The original catalogue describes the offered set as complete and in Very Good Plus condition. The magazines have light age-toning, small areas of damage along their top edges and some slightly bumped edges. Each is housed in an archival protective sleeve.
